I've been coming here the past few years. Employees are great and the atmosphere is generally pleasant. It's open, clean, well-lit. They carry a wide variety of items that most others do and are generally a few % back than others. You will save a few dollars on many sub-$20, sub-$10 items.The entrance is two driveways off Hawthorne that go into the parking lot that open up and connect as you approach the building. It is generally safe and well-lit, and you can park under bright lights at the entrance right up against the front door.The gal with the long black hair and tight curls is one of the hardest and best working budtenders I know. Watching her work under insane conditions is just impressive. Younger duderino and tattooed homie are fantastic, and owner is pretty nice and seems to generally treat them with respect. Everyone inbetween seems to be great, too.Though, the woman with the pink highlights needs to chill out because it's going to cost her boss even more business - (I personally won't be coming back).Spending $150-$250 a week, for as long as I have, to hear a grown woman throw a tantrum about having to do her well-paying job is both ridiculous and unacceptable. Then get snapped at, rushed to make a purchase, then stand there all day? What on earth?I really just wanted to close my wallet and walk out, and should have.Look: nobody wants to be on their feet 10h a day. But YOU get paid and it is YOUR JOB. If you do not like it, quit. If you can't answer the phone and run a register, quit. If it's taking 10..15..20 minutes to ring someone out with 3 items, quit. If your other customers are noticing how badly you treat ALL the other customers, quit.I don't get paid to be in a sea of sick people who can't cover their mouths while you cry about one of the more fun retail jobs in this state. It sucks seeing other patrons being treated poorly, after being treated so poorly.I was told, "Here's your propaganda" (lol?) when she handed me the weed liability disclaimers. Propaganda that's trying to keep kids safe? Boy, that tells me all I need to know about you as a person. How embarrassing and unfortunate. For her and the business, I mean.
