Special place, Garden was designed for the water treatment facility, the lake there is therefore always clean. It is in honoring water that the spirit of the garden exists. There are several kinds of Japanese gardens there. The philosophy of Japanese art is strongly influenced by Japan being an island. If you pay attention you can see this theme throughout. The water fowl who live there welcome us into there territory. The tea house is lovely. The vistas are deep and rich whether fall/winter or flowering spring /summer. What a hidden peaceful gem! Remember, it's closed Fridays and Saturdays.The water purified there circulates also to nearby Lake Balboa.
