Feedback:
The MA and the physician were very kind and professional, the receptionist in the other hand was very arrogant and rude. Every time I would talk to her to ask questions she wouldn’t make eye contact with me, instead she was entering information on the computer not acknowledging what I was saying, then she couldn’t verify my insurance information and when I tried to explain to her what she needed to do ( I work in the medical field and well aware of how insurance verification works) she would cut me off. I decided to call my insurance myself because she insisted I wasn’t insured, once I got confirmation that my insurance was active, I went back to the front desk where she was and gave her the information, she still argued with me and contradicted what I was saying. After I was done seeing the doctor, I stopped at the front desk again to make sure she had all my insurance information correct and she again did not make eye contact with me as I was speaking to her, she instead was looking at the computer monitor. As an administrator and medical professional, it doesn’t matter if your experience in the back office is positive because what matters is the first impression upon arrival and the first person you speak to. This is especially important in a medical office where sick people come in already not feeling well so the last thing you want to do is deal with an arrogant, rude and unprofessional person who is basically the face of the office. And on top at all that her Fake nails where too long and just looked unprofessional.
