Idealist question #1: How does one actually save the environment when you live in Seattle, WA, USA?Luckily for you all, I was advised by a very earnest college friend of mine, who majored in agricultural revolution, you shop at your local Co-OP. Well Seattleites, PNW-ites. This is our local Co-OP. But what is it really like? Pricey. Any way you cut it, moral penance fees do add up. I shop strategically here for certain very delicious very specific organic products. If I leave the store with one full shopping bag, and less then $50 spent, it's an utter miracle. So just keep that in mind, but shop here. Support local farmers and local agricultural markets and fully enjoy delicious groceries.And yeah, erm, earn your money so you can spend it here.
