After Covid19. I went around noon on a weekday. Every other cardio machine is off limits. I feel safe there. Some of the free weights area is a bit crowded but there is 6ft spacing. I feel sightly above average safe there. Im happy for the high ceilings to help ventilate air. Many hand sanitizer stations. The cleaner to use to wipe machine is high grade stuff. But the proper way to use it is to spray the machine and wait a bit to wipe it down. Saw employee properly sanitize some equipment. I saw majority of guest not wipe down the machine after use. Gross with all their sweat. Half were wearing a mask. I wasn't but had it half way on. You need one to enter. I just try to stay away from people that are exercising a bit too hard and huffing and puffing every where. I worked out hard af today. I stayed a bit away from people. I was keeping my huffing and puffing to myself. Overall I would come back. Felt safe but would still suggest washing hand and wiping equipment a bit more.

Have contacted management via person and online to advise them of issues around the Burbank location. Much needed new grips on many machines that can cause an unnecessary accident,Too many lunks around that hog up 3 machines/weights, staff doesn’t patrol “as before” to maintain cleanliness throughout the club, roof leaks every time it rains, staff is there physically but not there customer-service-wise to actually help.***** Is Planet Fitness charging monthly fees even though gyms are shut down? **********

Something is always broken, locker rooms always dirty, they never know anything about the notes in my profile and constantly telling me I don’t have a balance letting me walk in when indeed I do then later decide to tell me about the late fee they added. I’ve already downgraded because it’s starting to not be worth coming, especially this location at this point.

I called at approximately 10 a.m and was on hold for 17 minutes. Finally, I called a second time, wondering if this location in particular had preferred times when clients could speak to a representative on the phone. However, the same "thanks for calling, please hold" protocal before I could get a word out. I figured that they are probably busy, however, I'm curious why staff chooses to not inform clients about when the best time to return a call is to receive assistance and avoid being on hold for 17 minutes, what if an employee was alone at the front desk for 30 minutes while another was taking a lunch break? According to Lindsay "We simply put a client on hold until there's 2 employees at the front desk" and "by protocol, staff is trained to place a call on hold until 2 employees are at the front". Repeating herself when I explained how disrespectful this is to clients who prefer this location as there home gym and are treated as if they do not matter by protocol. Lindsay replies "We can't inform them of a better time to call because the person at the front has to worry about the clients present, that's our priority." That sounds like a lazy way of handling a high volume of clients at once, of course, if that was even the case here. Howard, please hire and train your staff accordingly. This was a terrible representation of the training of your staff at this gym based on my interaction with Lindsay.

Didn’t like the cancellation policy. I moved to Bay Area San Francisco and my gym membership was in North Hollywood. When I wanted to cancel the membership because I didn’t have the gym near my home in Bay Area. They asked me to go to North Hollywood location to cancel the membership because different location can not cancel the membership. Also planet fitness does not cancel the gym membership over the phone. So I had to call my bank to stop payment and bank charged me $30 for cancellation fee.

This location (especially after dark) is always crowded. With no exaggeration, members are standing in line waiting for their turn on a treadmill. If you're worried about security don't, just like all other planet fitness gyms this location has plenty of surveillance cameras.Warning. Once again, this is a very crowded location with only two showers in the man's changing room.

I really like this gym and the fact it's 24 hours. Good equipment, plenty of cardio machines, clean locker rooms,/restrooms, friendly staff and great extra perks of massage beds and chairs. My only complaint is the Total Body Enhancement booths have so many burned out red light bulbs in each booth. I mentioned this to the front desk but didn't seem prompt replacement of bulbs

Employees in front are sometimes welcoming. Some more than others. Some employees can be a bit stone faced at first (with that "I dont really want to be here" attitude). Gym is almost always busy , surprisingly on weekends (during the evening) as well. Restrooms are generally clean but seat covers are sometimes needed (both Male and female)

You get what you pay for. This is not in regards to the equipment, the equipment is decent quality and seems to be well taken care of by the gym. Due to the lower cost of membership there is more members and attendance is higher. This means longer waits for equipment and a more crowded gym. The mens locker room almost always reeks of body odor. I avoid it as much as possible.

It’s ripped off after I registered in few weeks I got billed and after 2 months I got billed for annual. If you cancel the reg before 1 year they will charge for a cancellation fee and they have a cut off too. They got so much money from me. They told the the promo is until September but what now I still heard this advertisement. I gave 1 star because they didn’t tell me that there’s a cut off. It’s Burbank planet fitness club
