After several of Dignity's long time great Dr's retired, patients were left with a list of the Doctors that were still with them. Dignity offered no help in selecting another Doctor just a letter stating your doctor is gone. When you or your Insurance Company is paying for your health care DON'T accept a Doctor that is average or a Doctor you're uncomfortable with. Dr. Katrina Mercado is young and an average Doctor at best with an average bedside manner from Dignity's list. You'll get the obligatory 10 maybe 15 minutes. OK for a cold or tummy ache but don't expect much more. Search for a better choice. Do not settle for average at best. Not when it comes to your health. Dr. Mercado will NOT refill your difficult prescriptions and did not go into detail about my diagnosted condition. I left with questions and no instruction which as it turned out I would need. I found her initial questions to be a bit insulting as if I'd not already done what she suggested through out my life and her course of treatment to be the incorrect dosage for me. Thank goodness for 2nd opinions. Find a better choice. Dignity Health Care is not worth your time or your money. Scheduling is difficult as is the long phone wait. You'll only ever get a centralized scheduling/refill/referral/call center.
