EDIT:My wife (Stephanie) and I had a bad experience a few days ago which was resolved completely this afternoon!! I spoke with Mike, the owner of RR in Aurora and he is an absolute CLASS ACT! He really cares about his customers and their experience at his stores. Additionally, Mike went out of his way to contact us multiple times (not in an overly aggressive manner.... like those calls that always reach out about extending your cars' warranty) to discuss the problem and a solution to make sure the experience we had a few days ago will not happen again and to keep us as loyal customers! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!Norman KimbroughIf there was an option for 0 starts that's what i would be leaving in my review based on my experience today. My husband and I have supported this business for the last 3+ years. Usually we have a great experience and love the customer service we receive, but today the same employees we often deal with were extremely rude to us. I understand that a lot has changed due to Covid, there are a lot of new rules, and no doubt a lot more stress is placed on the employees. That is why when we went in today I did not lose my cool when Brent and Eric treated us like sh*t. We have been to this business since Covid rules/changes began, and they let both of us in the store and asked us to maintain social distancing with other customers and employees. Which we respected. However today i was yelled at for not standing on my red square on the floor in an attempt to speak to my own husband. My issue is not the fact that there are new expectations due to covid it is the way they are being communicated. For two separate employees to treat us this way when we were not being rude to them, causing a scene or breaking their rules was extremely uncalled for. When i asked Eric if i was allowed in the store with my husband... ( a normal question especially since they have always allowed us to come in together) I was told that I should have just given my husband my money, and told him what i wanted and had him handle the business. Eric also told me that us coming to the store together was unnecessary that I was "a useless body taking up space in the store". At this point I did tell him that was uncalled for and that i was not a useless body taking up space. I could write even more about how rude Brent was to us as he completed our purchase. Including rolling his eyes, chastising us for moving 1 inch off our social distancing square, and refusing to thank us or tell us goodbye, Etc. I cannot stress enough that we were not being rude to these employees! Merely trying to adjust to new expectations we were unaware of. I felt like were were being bullied, and shamed for simply coming to their business. Not to worry we will not make that mistake again. I hope they realize that treating their customers this way will make them lose business. I have spent hundreds if not thousands at this business in the past, and recommended that countless friends use them as well. They lost some great customers.
