Cute shop with a great variety of Universal Collective products that are reasonably priced with a bit of a range depending on your budget. They were very informative & knowledgeable on all of their products and answered any question I had. I was bummed when samples of different product were offered to a woman also in the shop whereas I had purchased quite a lot of Universal Collective with no mention of any additional items to try out. Sounds silly but I figured this would be a given since I was a paying customer.
Feedback:
This place was great the guys were so nice and explained everything to me since it was my first time in a dispensary. They had lots of variety in product which was nice! I got some edibles and they were lit! Gosh that was a crazy experience! Never been that gone before. They also have great prices too. Check them out they are worth the visit!
Feedback:
Having a security guard by the parking lot in a safe neighborhood is the biggest plus. The flower I purchased was over-handled and had the distinct taste of added cannabinoids with the same spiky ineffective results. The claims of 21% THC may be based on additives, because it was worse than backyard in quality. Edibles were overpriced and the one I tried was powerless as medicine.

Overall 5 Star Experience For Convenience and Pricing!Parking -They have their own parking lot and a ton of meter parking on the street as well. Convenience -Great location right across from the In n Out near universal studios and lankershim. It’s also really easy to find. The Experience -Walking in there’s a nice plush Neon California Cannabis sign with weed leaves as the background. The security guard checks my ID and let’s me in right away. Process was quick and easy! Oh how the times have changed :)When I walked in I was immediately greeted and was explained where and what the different products can do for me. I get pretty bad anxiety so they recommended a few night time flower strains and different CBD ratio vape pens. I got pretty lucky as well because they had a buy one get one for a dollar with a vendor demo that day so i was able to stock up! The pricing is pretty great especially with their FTP deal. Got 10% off my entire order! Pricing is definitely one of the lower ones in the area. I do price check quite frequently when I know what I want. It’s great that I didn’t feel rushed and that everything was explained to me. The flowers that I got purple punch and Old School OG hit the spot. I was very relaxed and giddy. I smoked the Select Vape 5:1 ratio the next morning while I was doing a little bit of work. Calmed me down and helped me focus. I’m not a big edible fan but they did have a ton of edibles. Definitely recommending this to my friends and will be back. It’s so close to Universal Studios and I finally got my season pass!
Feedback:
I just stopped by this weed shop over the weekend after getting some In n Out burgers across the street over here at Universal City. I just want to let everyone know they have a lot of in house specials and you can find a lot of quality weed at an affordable price. This is the best marijuana dispensary in the area, because it has a wide selection of edibles, vape, concentrates and dried cannabis. This is also one of the cheapest store in the area. You have to go there to see all the in store discounts, and it is definitely worth the trip.
Feedback:
The volunteers here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in every way no matter what you need they will be able to help you for any specific pains. Not only are they extremely welcoming and nice they are patient and do not rush any customers and the quality of Medicine they offer is nothing but the best. It is definitely worth coming in if you have never been at least once and you'll see why you will never go any place else
Feedback:
My experience at SCC dba Universal Collective was a textbook example of Good Marketing Gone Wrong, wherein an advertisement was successful at inducing a spontaneous visit from an otherwise non-customer, but once inside fail to follow through and create an upset customer instead. Although, I'm not in any sense 'upset,' I am however annoyed enough offer some feedback on their failure, forthwith.Getting ThereWhoa Nelly! This store is in a tricky spot. Although the address (correctly) indicates it is on Cahuenga Blvd, it is more accurate to describe it as being on the south side of Ventura Blvd about two blocks west of Universal CityWalk and about two blocks east of Lankershim blvd, in Universal City. The shop is mid-block and has a very small parking lot next to it that can only accommodate maybe 6 cars and guarantees that you'll probably have a harrowing experience as you back out onto that almost always busy commuter corridor between Hollywood and the Valley. There is a complimentary valet service (which really isn't complimentary unless you are a d_ck and don't tip), but because of the near nonexistence of parking anywhere reasonably close by it is more of a necessity than a perk.Getting InAs you walk through the doors at Universal Collective, you will encounter a spacious waiting room with ample seating. To the left, an employee is stationed behind a teller window to check patients in. As of Sept. 2017, they require customers to be 18+ years old and have a current original medical recommendation in possession. A single page agreement must be completed and after about 15 minutes you're in.Getting GamedRecently I have been researching and taking advantage of an unusual marketing practice called FTP promotions. First Time Patient promos offer financial based incentives to attract new potential customers, provide an opportunity to become the provider of a solution for immediate and future needs. Loss Leader advertising is usually intended to serve the same purpose, so when I noticed an unusually good deal on weedmaps I decided to take a trip across the Valley; and because the sale expired in about 3 hours, I bit the bullet and ventured out into Thursday night rush hour traffic. According to "Deals" section, FTP's are given a "free" $10 gram of pot with a minimum $10 purchase. The unusually good deal was one ounce of hybrid shake for $30. Now, it is my contention that a "minimum $10 purchase" requirement is satisfied if I purchase something for $30 bucks. Not at Universal I discovered, where I was told that because I was getting a special weedmaps only deal--I had to spend an additional $10 bucks to get the free gram. So, instead of a $10 minimum it was a $40 minimum--can anybody say "bait and switch"?Honestly, I am more upset for Universal than at them; I had driven by this storefront a hundred times and had never really considered stopping in because of the location. Finally, they succeed in overcoming my reservations only to write my business off over $10? Somebody might want to rethink those policies sometime soon.BTW- the quality of the bargain basement hybrid was so-so-as expected.
