Dollar items and 10 cent service.The manager Claudia is a complete idiot and has no idea about customer service, she would be better at the local DMV with her bad attitude than a discount retail store. I went in to store to pick up 2 small items which should have been a quick transaction, with only one register open and a line with at least 10 deep and politely asked the male cashier (Asian/black guy) to request another cashier, his response was “She’s busy” with attitude. At this time myself and a 9 month pregnant lady decided to wait until another cashier came out. I saw another employee and asked for the manager when she stated was herself (Claudia). Again I asked for another cashier to help with the ever growing line with the single and slow cashier. Claudia seemed very agitated that someone would ask her to assist her coworkers in relieving the customers from register one. She told me and we would still have to get in line because when the 2nd cashier arrived they would be pulling next in line even though myself and the other customer had been waiting for assistance. Finally another cashier comes on and Claudia makes a clear effort to make sure everyone but myself and the pregnant lady gets to the cashier. The pregnant lady has had enough and storms out of the store, I waited and other customers in front of me allowed me to go ahead to make my purchases. As I completed my purchases Claudia starts yelling from two registers over that I need to wait my turn next time, I replied next time she should have adequate staff to help with the demand. and from behind the male clerk yells in a threatening tone that I don’t have to be rude, which I wasn't This type of service from the manager and the clerk leaves a bad taste in the mouth. In closing Its all how you handle difficult situations, All I wanted was to purchase items and leave If Claudia can’t understand her position she needs a new job.
