I have no knowledge of their cleaning quality because they never got around to cleaning our house. I contacted them initially via their online form (per the recommendation on their voicemail message) and received an email requesting a phone call. After playing phone and email tag for quite some time, we finally arranged an in home visit. This only occurred after we told them via email that we needed the house cleaned before an event at the end of the month. During the estimate and follow-up call, my husband was told there should not be any problem scheduling the cleaning before our event. The Monday before our event, we received an EMAIL saying there was no room in the schedule until mid-November. My husband responded that we needed our house cleaned before the end of the month and got a kiss-off email from the scheduler. No apology or explanation, just an appearance that the left hand (estimator) didn't know what the right hand (scheduler) was doing. In a follow-up call with the estimator, I received a better explanation of their resource issues, however, Simply Green is clearly at capacity. If they are not able to take on new customers, they should tell people that up front rather than wasting a month trying to line up business. At this late date, we cannot find a replacement. There was no attempt to help us other than providing a few names of other cleaners, but why should we trust their recommendation at this point? If it were my business, frankly, I would have paid a cleaner overtime, eating the loss on the estimate in order to gain an ongoing new customer (we were committing to monthly cleanings). Or I would have contacted existing customers that have regularly scheduled cleanings to see if there was any flexibility. Instead, they left us in the lurch before an event, creating a vocal detractor.Simply Green is a small company with limited resource availability and questionable customer service.
