I love their mature trees. All the fruit trees are pretty much trees and already fruiting. They also have a ton of passion fruit vines that are fully growing on latices. We bought a red grapefruit for our yard. It’s been doing good. I wish they had more berries and some more herbs. Staff were helpful. You can drive around to pick up what you need.
Feedback:
Large selection and great prices, but you need to know how to recognize the exact variety of the plants you are looking for. Their are more varieties on the lot than in the availability posted on their web site. Some plants are labeled, but many are not. Also, sometimes signs fall down and get moved or a customer will buy the pot holding the sign putting it in a new pot that may or not hold that same hybrid. I recommend studying the leaves and/or blossoms of your plants so you can positively identify them without relying on signs or tags.

I called and asked if they had coral allows. I was told they had twelve. I told the person that I was coming from the Inland Empire, over an hour away, and I'd like to pick them up the following day. When I arrived I found that they didn't in fact have the plants (that they said they'd have on will call) and that they were requested from another nursery. The plants wouldn't arrive until the next day. I drove 6p miles in each direction for nothing. I wasn't at all happy. As I left in frustration I looked back and the two women at the counter were laughing. I felt disrespected and there was absolutely no effort made to be helpful. I was very surprised and disturbed by their dismissive attitudes and disregard for my plight.
Feedback:
The transaction started out well. I met our landscaper there 2 times and "tagged" the trees he helped us pick out for delivery the day after next. The people in the office answered our questions very well, as I had not done such a large project before. The problem came with delivery (which we paid $75 when quoted $65) The Lantana white ground cover ones looked pretty dried out and not real healthy AND the avocado tree, filled with fruit, was no where to be found. They brought a substitute. If I take the time to tag something that I am going to pay for, you should have a better system that will not allow someone to remove our tag. I had thought of returning it but my gardeners / landscaper was there TODAY and I could not change anything. This is why I tried to do things in advance, so there were no problems. Spoke with someone there and things are worked out now

If you are looking for customer service, go anywhere else.I had problems with some of my plants immediately dying despite being professionally installed and irrigated. I called Briggs simply to let them know and to see if there was any remedy. I was met with hostility right out of the gate. While I understand that Briggs does not guarantee their plants and that sometimes plants don't survive transplantation, as a customer I expect more than and immediate accusative tone. An apology would have sufficed or even feigned concern. Instead, I was told "this is not Home Depot" (typical brush off response from places like this to excuse their bad customer service practices) and asked if I watered them (the functional equivalent of a computer tech asking if your computer is plugged in when your internet doesn't work). I will now have to pay to have ~$150 worth of dead trees removed and replaced. In the future I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommend that others consider doing the same.
Feedback:
I purchased a very inexpensive housewarming gift for a friend at Briggs. I asked the sales person if I could have a few pieces of tissue paper in the bag as it was a gift. Not only did she oblige, but she removed the sales tag, wrapped it in nice paper and placed it in a bag with handles and tied the handles with sisal rope with a tag!! You would have thought I had spent $100.00 when it was only $6.95!
