Lantis is the best corporation I had the opportunity to work for. If I could go back in time and do things different, I would have never transferred to a different facility and leave that facility like I had to.(Wasn't under Lantis at that time) I adored the associates and loved working with them and for them. I always felt like part of family. The care these nurses and CNAs give the residents is awesome. Activities director is number one in my book. I still don't know how the residents keep up with her. My grandmother was there for a short time and I could not ask for any better place for her to be at. Thank You Lake View Care Center for giving me fantastic memories.

My first day to work no one even was told I was coming in to start my position and the head of CNAs wasn’t even working that day to introduce me to anyone or my position. After four weeks of working there they tested me out on my CNA and I passed and was certified. They never reimbursed me as they promised for my fees if I passed. They also never changed my pay rate from a PCA to a CNA. The head of CNA still did not know me or couldn’t even pronounce my name correctly. I got along amazing with the residents and it was heartbreaking to leave them. I also had to report the company because people were more interested in smoke breaks than the residents they left on the toilet with no help! To this day they only paid me $240 out of the four weeks pay they still owed me. They refuse to pay what they owe me and they never had me clock in. They only let me write down my hours on a timekeeping sheet and turn it into the head of CNA names Tammy who “lost” my documents. This place is a mess. Do not recommend it for work nor for anyone to have a family member cared for here.

The care here seems good ,staff is nice/helpful doesn't seem under staffed, they do need some refresher courses on hand washing and glove removal, and the facility hasn't changed one bit in twenty years...no upgrades at all..could use some safety upgrades....there's very limited parking...maybe this sounds negative sorry....A+ on staffing customer relations....
