My interactions with all of the staff was professional and fun! I had a surf lesson with Peter and he did a great job explaining everything, showing me the moves, and answering all my questions. He taught me a lot of tricks and encouraged me to keep going the entire time! I would definitely recommend him and Everyday California for any ocean adventures! :)

My Husband and I decided to have an adventure today. Though I am from San Diego, I have never experienced the Kayak tour in La Jolla. That being said...We really enjoyed the tour! We loved local story’s about the ecological environment while seeing the local sea lions, dolphins and Garabaldi, in the reefs. The caves were amazing as well. Way more than what we expected!! Thank you!

I took my 18 year old son and his girlfriend on the Sea Cave Kayak Tour. We were extremely pleased with the entire experience. The guides, Al and Peter, were friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job getting us all safely on the water, and took time throughout the tour to stop and share facts about the nature around us. Kayaking into the sea cave was definitely worth it and the history they shared about the caves really added to the experience. The equipment was of good quality and in good repair. I'd highly recommend them if you'd like to get out and see La Jolla Cove.

Recently booked a two person kayaking rental from Everyday California in La Jolla and couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received! I previously had a horrible experience with another tour/rental company in La Jolla and wasn't sure if this experience would be the same. But from the minute I stepped foot into the Everyday California location I was greeted and helped by friendly staff, helped out during the rental process and even down at the beach all the way into the water! Very kind and professional staff throughout the whole process. Hiring staff made a good decision not hiring 16 yr olds to run the whole process like some of the other rental companies in la jolla (haha). Equipment was clean and in good condition. My only complaint is the size of their paddles; seemed a bit on the shorter side. I'll never use any other tour/rental in the future other than Everyday California!

I came for one day to San Diego from Canada and taking part of the Kayak cave tour run by Everyday California has given me a unique experience to SD! This was the first time for me Kayaking in open water with waves and it was very interesting. The staff were super friendly and funny during the tour which made the whole experience much better! I would recommend anyone going there to interact with the staff as much as possible because they are very knowledgable with the area and sea life

Not bad. Not outstanding. I’ve done a lot of kayaking (both flat water and ocean/bay) at various places. I’ve done guided tours in Puerto Rico, Key West and the N.C. Outer Banks. Relatively speaking, the payoff isn’t 100% worth the cost of this tour. We were on a tour with eight other kayaks plus a ton of kayaks from other companies, so it was rather crowded at the cave entrance. We were able to spend only about 30 seconds in the cave. We basically paddled in a few feet, turned around and paddled out. We didn’t see a ton of wildlife - only a few garibaldi. You can see more La Jolla wildlife exploring the tide pools and cliffs on foot. On the plus side, the shop staff and guides Tony and Gerardo were friendly and knowledgeable. And, La Jolla‘s coastline is beautiful no matter what! We did get a great view of that and learned some interesting facts about the town. I would consider renting kayaks from them or doing their whale tour, though the next time I’m in the San Diego area.

Great service. The whole experience was very smooth and you're very well informed every step of the way. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Had a great time kayaking to the the cliffs and nearby caves. The water was cold in February but we ended up not needing a wet suit anyways. We went at 11:30pm when it was sunny and the water was calm. Water was pretty clear so you can see a few fishes at the bottom. Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 (kids ages 12 and 14) did the tour with double kayaks this week. We were super lucky to have great weather, and got to go into the cave. The kayaks are fun and easy, it's great exercise, but not stressful, and the whole trip is just breathtakingly beautiful. Josh and Lance were terrific guides. Helpful, friendly, upbeat, clearly love their jobs. It's been the highlight of our trip to San Diego. We would definitly do it again!
