This company drags their feet in getting things done. They are poor at communicating. It has taken almost a year to get a new wheelchair for our 36 year special needs son. Frustrating! We bailed and started over with a different medical equipment provider

3/4/2020It took the better part of a year to process the paperwork for my lift chair in large part because the employees at Med Shop couldn't be bothered to pick up a telephone and talk to my service coordinator from United Healthcare (my ins. carrier). After endless phone calls and no end of frustration on my part trying to coordinate the two of them, my chair finally arrived. That was three months ago.Now my chair is standing in the corner of the living room, stuck in the fully upright position. When I called to inquire about repairs they told me it was probably the controller and it was covered by the manufacturer's warranty. BUT I would have to pay a $60 service fee before they would come out to look at it. I asked about just bringing the controller to the store/shop and was told it needed to be connected to the chair. So my options, as a shut-in, are to pay their service fee (which I can't afford) or haul the chair to their 'service department' myself. I can't report them to Medicare for fraud since they did deliver the chair, but I can let the public know they should avoid this collection of community college rejects if at all possible. One parting thought; if the chair was new why did it break so soon? And if they know the controllers are defective, they should make other arrangements for their replacement.

A one star rating because negative stars isn't an option. When people depend on machinery amd the masks that go with it to live their lives, seven weeks of not returning calls just to finally say you don't have the prescription we've been waiting for all this time is beyond inept, it's careless and neglectful. People suffer when they don't receive the care they need. With Medical Depot, there is always an excuse.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our experience at Med Shop getting his CPAP. Tim and Cara were not only so helpful and nice but just enjoyable to be around. They treated us like family! They stayed after hours to make sure we were taken care of and understood how to use our new device. They were exceptional! Diana is also so easy to work with there - it's obvious that employees at Med Shop do what they do because they care about their clients! These supplies at Med Shop really have so much to do with the quality of life of those that need them - we are truly appreciative to Med Shop for greatly contributing to my husband's health and wellness!

We so appreciate the service we always receive from Med Shop Medical Depot. My son's wheelchair lift failed to deploy when we arrived at his doctor's appointment last week. I called Med Shop Medical Depot and the lady immediately notified Jason, their service man, who arrived at the doctor's office in about 30 minutes! Jason had the lift working quickly. This incident was not the first for us and each time we call for help we have been quickly taken care of which is very important when dealing with a person who has a handicap. THANKS again, Med Shop Medical Depot.

I needed a battery charger for my scooter. It was an emergency, and it was on a Friday afternoon and they were closed on Saturday. It was 5 o’clock and they closed at 5:30 and I was 30 minutes away. They would not stay open even A few minutes late to wait for me to get there so I could get a charger that I so desperately needed . I do not recommend using them for anything. They showed no care or concern.

Feedback:

The products that I got from here were great, there are no complaints about the products that they sell. They do sell their products higher priced than all of the other DME companies in our area. I realize that everyone has to get a little money from the "pot", therefore I'm not even complaining about that. My complaint is the employees (not all of them, but I prefer not to leave names). I worked with 3 different people when getting my products, one was so rude I ended every phone call in tears. I was told I was too fat and they didn't have anything on their floor that would hold me. I was told this before being measured. I set up an appointment to see what size I needed to order. After being told I was too fat and they didn't keep that size there it had to be ordered, I dropped by the next day and shockingly they had just happened to have exactly what I needed, there in stock! I thought it must have been someone else's since they didn't keep any that are that size there but when I asked how long it would take to order one for me and the lady I was working with said, "you can take this one home with you!" After she told me on the phone that they don't have anything on the floor that would hold me! Customer service has been horrible but their products are great. I won't go back. How you treat a person is very important!

Customer service blows. Lady on the phone has a "that's not my job" attitude. Rude tone. Folks are sick, trying to get supplies that would help their quality of life and she sounds like she doesn't give a damn about anything but drinking lattes and collecting a paycheck. I'd rather go without and be miserable than do business with someone like that. Maybe she'd do better away from the public, stocking shelves or scraping gum off the floors. Just a thought.

Got a power chair they said would be identical to the floor model so I had them file thru the insurance and order it...when it was delivered it was completely different. After a year the chair seat was cracked and coming apart, the foam arm rests was peeling, the control unit broke off and the chair was unusable. They also wanted me to pay $50 up front, outside my insurance, for a rollator.
