The problem comes in with the damages and their insurance.Lets start off with the actual team of people doing the move, they will dictate EVERYTHING. We got the "D+" team, the guys were not bad, they just did not seam to work as a team. One guy was only 3 days in, so he knew nothing nor did he really know how hard moving is. So before lunch time he was dragging. Now that meant the other two had to pickup the pace and workload. That ultimately took its toll on them, which ultimately lead to all of the damages.What should have taken 5-6 hours took more than 9, which by the way you are paying for all hours they are on your property until they tell you I'm taking you off the clock now.Damage to my BRAND new house, hole in wall, damage to hand rail, damage to furniture. ETC, ETC.Now to where the problem becomes more deep rooted with the company. When you ask what does this insurance cover they will tell you if it gets damaged they will replace it at no cost to you less the deductible if you have one. Is this a training issue, or is this how he WAS trained. I asked on multiple occasions if a damaged item would be repaired or replaced if I purchased the insurance, every time I was told REPLACED.-Insurance, Full value replacement, does not mean replacement. It means if we cannot find a way to fix your item then we want you to provide us all the information of where it was bought when it was bought, how much you paid for it including the receipt for it. While I am not saying this moving company is any worse than any other company. What I am saying is I think the Sacramento branch does a poor job training their crews. I think their sales tactics are deceptive at best. I think they could do a better job setting their teams up for success. I will think long and hard about hiring them again or referring them.
