Today I decided to visit European Wax Center because I am new to the area and I have always had a good experience with the waxing services from other European Wax Center facilities. However, I will not be returning to this particular facility after the experience I had today. I believe my estheticians name was Aspen. I specifically asked for just a simple clean up and I stated that I would like to keep my eyebrows thick. She left my eyebrows completely uneven and extremely thin. I did not mention anything about my dissatisfaction to her because I did not trust her to do a good job at modifying my eyebrows after the work she had produced. Typically, I never fill in my eyebrows but after today I had to go out and by a product in order to fill in my current asymmetrical eyebrows. I am unhappy, because of this visit I had to go out and buy an additional product for something I originally did not need.

I went here in preparation for my wedding (super fun times) and I got waxed for the first time. The girl that did my wax, Amara, was incredibly nice and talked to me the entire time because she knew I was uncomfortable (it being my first time and all hahaha) but it seriously helped me keep my mind off of what she was doing and lemme tell you it looked GREAT. I def recommend.

The management at this place is terrible. All they care about is making money and have the worst customer service. They somehow merged my account with my sister's account because our last names are same. My sister and I requested them to fix it several times and every time the receptionist said she'll have manager do it. Months later when finally manager looked at the account she they ceased my account saying my sister has been using my passes. Well ofcourse when you've merged her account into mine you'll see two people using passes from same account. She did not listen to me at all and instead of ackowleging mistake on their end blamed everything on me. Worst manager ever!!!

I love this place everyone is so nice and friendly and they work with you if your running a bit late or need to change days or a walk in depending on what it is but very flexible. They call you to remind you of the appointment you schedule and they are open 7 days a week so awesome also, very clean and always smells good in there, I was so excited I was calling around called 3 or 4 places before I called them I asked if they could fit me in today because it was around Valentine's day and I knew it was gonna be crazy busy and so hard to be seen before the weekend when everything usually is closed with my luck and I live pretty far away but I called they said if you can come in now and already being in Chico that day not having to wait 3 hours for somewhere else I said, OH MY ARE YOU SERIOUS!! I'll be right there I was so excited and happy

I love this place, but be careful to be specific as to how you want your brows waxed. The last girl didn't listen to me at all and waxed them into two thin lines that looked ridiculous. I've been growing them back out for months trying to get them to look like real eyebrows again. Next time, I will spell out EXACTLY how much to take off, instead of telling the gal how happy I was to finally have fuller brows. Ugh.

I love European Wax Center. Taylor was the one and only person that I would go to because she was so friendly and thorough with her job. She made you feel very comfortable and always explained exactly what she was doing and was very knowledgeable with any questions that I had. I definitely recommend going here for all your waxing needs :)

I have enjoyed my experiences using this waxing company. However one experience really ruined me wanting to work with them again. I had scheduled an appointment at 3:45 and received a confirmation email for that time and day but on the day of when I arrived they said my appointment was at 2:30. I had received a voice mail the day before but did not listen to it as I had received the confirmation email already. Being in the service industry I believe that if you need to change an appointment time for a client you call them and confirm the different appointment time rather than just changing the appointment time and leaving them a voicemail. People have things going on during the day and aren't always able to adjust their schedules more than an hour. And so I was very disappointed and upset that they did not attempt to contact me more and only found out on the day of at the time of my original appointment that they couldn't get me in.

Very greatful it is under new ownership! I had some dissatisfing experiences in the past and decided to give them a org try since I still had two waxes left on my pass. I went to the brow event they hosted I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they were under new ownership! I was very happy with my wax and the whole experience. The new owner is very polite and thoughtful. I would recommend to anyone.
