World Wellness Center
2951 Garnet Ave. | San Diego, California, 92109Client Review on World Wellness Center
Feedback:
I attended a "thyroid workshop" here, which was advertised as an informational event. It was not informational, it was an hour long advertisement for their services, which were only vaguely alluded to, never described beyond "supplements and diet". The first warning sign should have been the agreement I had to sign to attend, saying I wouldn't record anything and could be sued for $50k if I did record the session. The "doctor" (who I discovered later when I googled him is not an MD but a chiropractor) repeatedly told us that he would only take us on as patients if we were 100% dedicated to our health, made it our top priority above kids and family and work, and if our spouse would commit to the same. Sketchy at all? Despite the red flags, I did pay $35 to get some blood work done and have a consultation, which I figured was cheap for blood work so might as well do it. After going home and thinking it over, and seeing that this doctor is only a chiropractor, I decided I didn't want to deal with this shady place. I called and requested a refund, and was told that it was nonrefundable (no one said this before) and that this was on one of the slides on the PowerPoint that the "doctor" had blown through. I would steer well clear of this health cult scam if I were you.
