Thank you for coming to my and my mother's rescue. For setting my mom up with caregivers who are putting her needs first and not afraid to do so. Thank you for taking the bulk of the burden of my mother's care off of my shoulders. Thank you for stopping in from time to time just to check on my mom. Thank you for creating a schedule that is comfortable for your caregivers to provide excellent care for my mom and give the caregivers the rest they need to do their jobs. Thank you for realizing the serious condition of my mom's health and knowing the right way to take care of her. "My mother finally realized she needed help caring for my father. We talked with a friend who is in the care-giving business, and he recommended Always Best Care. In my first conversation with Bill, I knew we could work together. He came to the house, asked questions, made suggestions, listened to our wishes and set up appointments for visits. When we changed direction he found new places for us to visit.Bill and his wife came to the house again. She did an evaluation on my father and they explained the sequence of life's events we should expect, and helped fill out the vital paperwork. They also discussed the services Always Best Care could provide us. This included placement at a care facility or "in-home" care givers, full or part-time. They both stressed our decision on what to do must focus on my father's needs and the families' concerns. At no time was any pressure put on us to make a decision before we were ready. Once this decision was made, Bill was there with encouraging words, questioning concerns, and follow-up calls. Caring for a loved one is life consuming, placing that loved one in a care facility is heart wrenching. Bill and Always Best Care helped make this process a little easier. I whole-heartedly recommend Always Best Care.

Always Best Care Senior Services was a tremendous help to me in locating a quality residential room and board facility for my brother. Owner Bill Mathis didn't simply offer me a list of assisted living facilities as other similar agencies had done. We viewed several facilities on his computer, then Bill personally took me to visit the prospects I had selected. He was even so kind as to take my brother to visit the final selection before moving in. I was more than pleased with the services Always Best Care Senior Services provided to my brother and me.

6/30/16- We have used Always Best Care for the last 2 yrs for my husband who has ALS. The caregiver that we had was terrific and we love her. She worked with my husband 5 evenings a week feeding him and getting him to bed. One evening our caregiver did not show up because she was pulled to be on another case. No one notified me. I had to call the company to find out that she was not coming. This was several months ago. Then a couple of days ago, the caregiver called me and told me she would not be in that evening because she was pulled off my husbands care to work for another client 8 hrs a day and that she would not be returning to care for my husband. The caregiver needed this position since she had been laid off from her full time position a couple weeks ago. I totally understand that she needs full time work. Once again the company did not notify me of this complete change. I had to call them and they stated that that was what the caregiver wanted. They had made no arrangements for my husbands care and could not understand why I was upset. The attitude was totally unprofessional and not caring. I believe they will go with the client that will provide them with the most revenue with no regard to the other patient. They basically dropped my husbands care with no after thought . They would not authorize our caregiver to train someone for my husband until I raised the roof but by then my husband did not want to deal with Always Best Care at all. I am saddened that there is a company out there that is not devoted to its patients and their care and that others may have the same experience with them.
