The clinic has a contemporary feel with the medical staff (nurses & doctors) standing in an open space surrounded by computers and paperwork & patient rooms as you walk in the door to the receptionist... more

I tried to go to south shore walk-in, this was this past Thursday mid day. I called them and they suggested this but when I go there they said there was a 2.5 hour wait. Why did they not know this before I drove there and wasted my time? And yeah drove straight to your pembroke location and got seen within five minutes. This seems to be the future of how to see a PA quickly when in needs. Recommend.

While the clinic itself is beautiful and the nurse/front desk friendly and very efficient- I have to say my doctor was not so great. I saw the nurses for far longer than her, and she still complained about how much time she spent with me-under 5 mins. I had chest pain, was on week 3 of being the sickest Ive ever been. They ordered xrays for my chest but it was clear she had decided before even speaking to me that it was bronchitis and nothing more. She put a prescription in and when I tried to ask about what it was she grew visably irritated. I tried to explain the pain was keeping me up at night and that i was vomiting and couldn hold only liquids down but I couldn't even get that far before she was essentially telling me my symtoms were normal and just tough it out. She kept leaving the room before i could even finnish what I was saying. The prescription was for pills my insurance wont cover-and since I cant keep pills down not even my normal ones- they are useless. I now have so much pain and trouble breathing at night its impossible to sleep or maintain my job. My dad just went to a real doctor for similar symptoms and the doctor said immediately he needed antibiotics. So now I have to wait another two days to go to primary and get the meds that if this doctor had cared to listen, would have saved me alot of pain and money.Doctor [redacted fir privacy reasons], perhaps it was just an off day for you-but please listen to your patient. I was trying to tell you the whole time the amount of pain I was in was not normal. Ive had bronchitus before- severe bronchitus. This is different. Throwing up consistently 3 weeks after the flu, unable to sleep- thats not normal. Telling me my symptoms were "normal" and prescribing me meds that could not help my current situation. And when you said "if you had a fever and extreme exhaustion then Id worry" well, I have fevers every night and my exhaustion is extreme. But at that point it was clear you were not going to listen and just wanted the next patient.Being dismissive of symptoms and insinuating patients have taken enough of your time already is not only rude but dangerous. So thats why I'm writing this. I really hope you reconsider how you treat your patients because this cost me alot more in money/pain time than it will you. Please listen to your patients even if you think you already know what they have.

This recent visit was outstanding. I didn’t have to wait to be seen and the staff could not have been more professional. I was in and out after five stitches in less than an hour.I would especially like to thank Kate for her excellent care.Keep up the great care you provide.Thank YouJack Dowd

I prefer coming here rather than going to my own primary care doctor for minor issues, because the wait is always so short and they are all very professional, but still friendly. Every time I have come here I am in-and-out, Unlike my own primary cares’ office! I’d be there for hours waiting sometimes, and there’s always someone coughing/hacking or kids crying in the waiting room. I have never dealt with any of that at this Health Express office, and it’s always immaculate here (which I love). I also like the fact that you don’t need to make an appointment to be seen here, you can just walk right in, and they are open pretty late, until 9pm I think-which is amazing for us working parents, or anyone who doesn’t want to have to leave work early to go see a doctor before 5 pm.I took my son here recently when I couldn’t get an appointment for him at our primary care office until the following week, and he had a very sore throat that wasn’t going away, so I wanted him to get tested for strep throat. We were in-and-out of here in under 30 minutes, strep culture and all! Unfortunately, at my last visit I was informed that they will no longer be accepting my health insurance plan?? I wish I could still come here, But I don’t want to have to pay out-of-pocket to go here when I have good health insurance!! Hopefully, they will decide to accept my plan again someday soon.

Polite staff, Clean facility, but I waited for 2 hours to be seen with literally only 1 other patient in there. And that patient was waiting as well for a very long time. I'm a nurse, so i understand how Physicians nurse and other medical personnel might be caught up putting in orders and writing notes, but if you're facility isn't inundated with patients then you should take the time to get them in and out and then complete your tasks afterwards. I had to come out of my room and remind them that I was in there and that I had to leave to go to work in order for them to put down whatever they were doing and come in in Finnish my walk in issue. If they could find a way to be a bit more organized and proactive/productive, then I'm sure this was sylheti would be a much better success.

My most recent visit went very well with the female doctor that I had. She was very helpful and thorough with diagnosing me properly. Often, the Drs. say, “It’s probably viral. Go rest and take motrin.” She was understanding and helped treat my symptoms on the spot with a breathing treatment and prescribed me medicine that would help with my awful cough. I would go back for sure if I could see that Dr. each time, but she’s not always there. I usually go here instead of my primary dr because it’s faster and more convenient. I would recommend.

I visited the Pembroke location on New Year’s Day with flu like symptoms. I was checked in immediately by friendly, courteous staff member. I was taken into an exam room within 5 minutes for my vitals by Maureen. She was very efficient and pleasant. I was seen by Joyce NP within minutes and she told me I had the influenza type A... even though I had a flu shot in October. She was very thorough and gentle and new my past history. I had a chest X-ray, and technician was very nice. Julie wrote some scripts for me and explained each one. Great experience overall!Entire staff was excellent!

Waited maybe 25-30 min. Hardly any paperwork to fill out. Staff was very thorough and polite. I usually go to compass in East Bridgewater and I am never treated as well as I was at health express. I got a chest X-ray, nebulizer treatment and left with 3 prescriptions. Had I gone to compass I might have gotten an X-ray and an antibiotic. Will be going here from now on when I need to.

Pros:Prompt! I got in with almost no waiting.Hours that suited my needs.Doctor was prompt and very pleasant.Proper diagnosis Nurse was very niceCons:Office was open until 5pm Saturday, I showed up at 430pm. Counter staff was rather rude at my late arrival. Despite only one other person in the waiting room, I felt like I was bothering “him”.Rx - arrived at my pharmacy as it was supposed to be called in....nothing. Checked back with a pharm later, still not called in. So called the office, curt person answered and when asked to verify RX called into S&S...TWICE advised yes only to find out it’s at CVSConclusion- would go back. Simple sinus infection diagnosed and adressed, but customer service needs to be addressed.
