My wife and I came in today with an almost $300 shopping list. I poked my head in first to double check the occupancy to make sure we could enter and when I realized only one more could enter, I waited outside with my wife until it was okay for us to go in. When other customers exited the building we walked in with ID’s in hand like we always do. (A bit of backstory I moved here from out of state and have been unable to get a new updated Oregon ID due to Covid-19. And the law states that any out of state ID that expires AFTER March 8th 2020 is considered valid even after expiration until October.) The SAME EXACT employee that told us this information back in April refused me service today even though we have dealt with him in the past on almost every visit. He said his name was Robert. I questioned it and and kindly reminded him of the current law on the matter and he told me That information was false. He was rude in his response and told us we needed to leave even though my wife has a Valid Oregon ID. We left and went to Kind Leaf around the corner and we’re greeted with respect and kindness. They accepted my ID and I even asked them about the current law about the matter and they confirmed what I already knew. My ID IS INFACT VALID. I left with a haul of higher quality than anything High Desert has to offer, added a few hundred dollars to Kind Leafs drawer and even left a tip. So a word to the wise, if you want cheap, poorly cut cannabis or concentrate that’s left open and leaking with very poor customer service then go to High Desert. If you want great customer service with a nice atmosphere and much nicer product and over triple the selection, then go to Kind Leaf. •UPDATE• The owner of High Desert also attempted to lie and say that they could not accept my ID even though I have gotten confirmation from several other store owners that they can accept it. At this point I feel discriminated against as this has never been an issue in my dozens of trips to this establishment. But now with all of the new tension in the nation I’m apparently a problem. To whoever I may have offended in whatever way I apparently did so, grow up and stop taking your feelings out on customers. Especially when we are such frequent patrons and bulk buyers. This store will NEVER see our money, nor the money of the hundreds(Soon thousands) of other people who now know about this. Good job, you did this to yourself. Also, why would my wife stay and spend our money in your store after your employee was so rude to me? Your store is a complete joke. The owner of High Desert is unable to provide any information supporting their false claim that they can’t accept my ID. However the owners of Kind Leaf and Pendleton Cannabis both informed me that they must accept expired IDs until October unless it is extended to a further date. Not only are the owner and the employees rude and unable to give proper information on the product they sell, but they are complete LIARS.

I understand the 3 person rule but Brenna can be a little more pleasant when speaking to people who come in and there are already 3 people in there. I popped my head in the other night and only saw 2 people so I proceeded to go in and Brenna standing in front of the ATM (where the 3rd person was) snapped very rudely to go outside there was 3 people. You couldn’t see the 3rd person. After going outside another customer who was inside came outside and commented how rude she was to them as well. This isn’t the first time I have been snapped at, also not the first time I have witnessed it. While being in the store I have witnessed her snapping at others. Maybe a customer service training would benefit her. Maybe it won’t. But something needs to be done about her about her attitude and customer service skills All other staff are amazing! :)

OMG! Love this gem of a pot shop. The staff was so patient with me. I took forever to choose from their massive collection of product. Went on cheap joint day back in March of this year. Going thru again at Thanksgiving to visit this, my favorite depo so far on the planet. Can't wait to travel thru Pendelton Oregon again.... Cheers! Stay lit.

Went to try and make a 400 dollar purchase but was asked to remove my beanie cap while in the store... Even though literally every other customer in the room had one on including my wife. Don't know why they profiled me but they can do what they please it's their business. It was cold and raining and I also have some embarrassing health issues around my scalp which is why I like to keep my small beanie cap on. Not like it was covering my face in any way. Needless to say we both left almost immediately, my wife being more annoyed than myself. Go to kind leaf right around the corner where you can shop in comfort. They're very kind and professional there and it's the only place I'd go in Pendleton! When your spending that much every week on products, go somewhere where you can shop without bud tenders being sketched out about a beanie.

I came in looking for a bong specifically and they did have choices but they didn’t come with the bowl itself. I ended up not buying a bong from here but I did get some flower. I wasn’t able to get the girls name who helped me but she was extremely patient and very nice. She never seemed annoyed with my questions and went above and beyond to answer all my questions

Had a rough start with these guys with my unvested, noncertified service dog, but when the dust cleared, it's been nothing short of an awesome experience. I see these guys and gals every week for my meds and would highly recommend them.*10/19--Add in that I've recently tried to browse elsewhere, but apparently called Snob Hill for a reason. When your young employees find side bar conversation, with whispers and giggles, more important than my question of "how much Myrcene is in the product?" then they're probably NOT my store.Braxton and Morgan are spot on for "my kind" of in depth medical knowledge--terpenes, etc. because they know it. Patients helping patients, with and without medical cards. Brenna, Brad, Wesley, and the rest of the team are always listening and suggesting based on what is told to them, not from them, necessarily.Which brings me to price and variety. In case you didn't notice, NorthEastern Oregon is pretty thinned in rec stores. Some have to drive 60+ miles because that's the closest. When you drive that far, you need good deals and good variety selection. When you depend on certain strains and brands, and your store doesn't stock them regularly, then maybe they're not "your" store.So far, I haven't had that problem with these guys. And they're affordable. You can't even go across the border (because that would be illegal) and pick up gms for under $25. They also have daily deals and a check in system where you get points just for showing up and seeing them. They also aren't bothered when you call them to ask if they have certain product in stock. My only sad panda face is they don't have Leafly pickup setup or an updated online menu, YET. I have severe social anxiety and some days would like to just skip the fuss, pay and pickup a bag behind the counter.

This place is pretty awesome, as far as dispensaries near Eastern Oregon. The overall selection the store has to choose from is average. They do carry a little bit of everything, for everyone. The store also offers a points rewards system for their customers. You just enter your phone number in the tablet and boom you get points. You don't have to purchase anything at all to receive points. Today I cashed in sone pints for a free dab slick. Also the prices at this dispensary are the best, out of the three in Pendleton. High Desert has the best and cheapest prices of all three. They also offer daily deals, always. Their location could not be better. Right next to the freeway. The only thing they could improve on is to offer the same prices as the Portland Oregon dispensaries.

I have only been to this dispensary a few times when I am in town and I have found a couple really good strains ,Dank Sinatra and I really like this one,Scooby Snacks at almost 31.0% THC. Its an Indica hybrid with some really deep purple hues and lots of tri-comes that make this strain glisten in the sun. Two hits will have you high and three is just right for me. Friendly staff always willing to help you out. Go check them out if your in Pendleton!
