This is heart-breaking. I've shopped here for years and loved it, even thought they sell weird $15-$20/Gs no one buys. They have awesome deals on cheap herb/concens really often and the staff are AWESOME.You know what they don't have? Shielding up around their employees during COVID so far. That's not safe for ME or THEM. A family member of mine works here and we support them quitting for now due to lack of protection. Management doesn't seem too concerned with this. Look at ANY OTHER company around the area; even the mini mart down the street has shielding over the counters. WOW. When you can save a buck over an employees health.If you enter businesses without a mask on you are a @!#$% of @#%$.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I ordered an item online one time and they didn’t have it, and called me right away to let me know, and helped me choose something else. The quality of their flower is great. Definitely a gem of a shop. I highly recommend!Update July 1st: I ordered online because I've been having an endometriosis flare and needed to get in and out as quickly as possible. Ordering online was super easy and so was picking it up. The staff was super friendly, and the gentleman with the black mask and dreads who helped me was especially nice and I just really appreciate it. I have been sick and in pain all day and the last thing I wanted to do was leave the house but I had to, and they just made it so much more enjoyable. THANK YOU!!!

Their Pre Rolls are really small. Buy flower and you get tree trunks.Quarter of what was bought had tree trunks for stems. Very displeased.One worker there is rude as hell. Won't be back

I came to La Mota on Saturday because I heard of a deal they were having on bongs when you purchase 100$ of bud. After purchasing and inspecting the bong it had scratches and imperfections. Before leaving I asked if I could look at the other bongs to swap with the one I got because it was was not to the quality they claimed. According to workers at the store I was unable to swap with another bong of same value size and etc just because I had completed the transaction even tho I had not even left the store yet. I'm honestly frustrated but it's whatever I'll just go to the other dispensary a in the area because the service here was sub par not to mention their selection of bud was miss at best.

i love going to La Mota bc of their deals. i used to go legit every week bc their staff was really nice but lately everyone seems like they’re in such a rush and not willing to answer questions/show you diff weed. i understand you guys get busy but you have 5 people in the back and only 2 on registers. last time i went one of your employees who i believe prefers to go by “they” was VERY rude. They seemed VERY irritated and they gave us a lot of attitude. my friend and i are very friendly and even walked up asking how their day was, they ignored that. The customer they helped after asked her the same and they sighed and said “well i’m alive what are you getting”. i know it can get overwhelming but if you can’t handle a social job then maybe you shouldn’t have taken the job. idc about your preference on what you go by i’m not judging that at all, it’s the fact that you want the customers to respect you and your pronouns but you gave my friend and i attitude, weren’t helpful and that is what i don’t respect bc you didn’t respect me. i stopped going here for a while bc of the service and that’s what i returned to. made me really miss the old staff. there are still a few people here who are very nice and they’ve either been here for a while or are just cool peeps.

I am a fan of the la mota brand as I'm all over Oregon all the time.. Today I had a subpar experience with Jamie ( not sure on the spelling), everything about my experience today, left me feeling as if my business was not appreciated, maybe it's a bad day for her, but I could not let the poor customer experience I just had fly, if it weren't for your prices I probably wouldn't return to that location, I would hate to have to tolerate that type of service again

Starting with the good, almost every person that works here has a wonderful attitude and is willing to go the extra mile for you. Cant sing the praises of their service enough. I feel like the turnover is high because I see new faces frequently, but every new face has a smile and is willing to share information with you. Next up the prices are great, commonly a dollar or two cheaper on grams of oil/live resin/diamonds. My one big complaint, and I know it's not the locations fault, but I've received multiple grams from Altered Alchemy weighing out at .9, .92, .87 and such. Kinda disappointing, I get it's only around a tenth of a gram but theres something to be said about getting what you pay for. Service is great, prices are fantastic, and again, the service is always great. Just some of the products they carry aren't weighed properly.

I never write reviews... but I have to share my experience.. When I lived in Portland, I went to La Mota For many years for my product needs. I currently live in Central Oregon and this last weekend I came back to Portland to see my family, which of course calls for a dispensary stop. So I went to the Beaverton location and decided to try the top shelf to treat myself since I’m always ballin on a budget... I got the Gorilla Glue #4 and I have never been so happy to finally have a product all in one, smoothest hits, smells more than delicious, burns all the way white, but most of all leaving me feeling amazing. I am excited to try more from this grower because It truly is a pure quality product that helped me relieve my anxiety and a list of symptoms! I’m definitely going to take advantage of the Tuesday and Friday top shelf deal. Thank you La Mota!!

absolutely the best chain dispensary for prices on cartridges. I like the northeast Portland one better for flower but also a great option if you're on the West side. Definitely no better place out here to go then I have found and I have done a lot of checking around. The people are nice and friendly and they have an ATM. Parking is reasonable

I know it’s not the employee’s fault when another co worker is not their for their shift. And I know that it can be frustrating when people come into your workplace within the hour of closing, but hours are posted for a reason. I came in at about 9:20pm for a gram of wax but I also wanted to get a half oz of sativa flower. The gentlemen helping me showed me the shake like remains of two jars indicating a half oz is probably not likely. I asked if it would be okay if I did a quarter of it instead, and he agreed. I then asked for a quarter of an indica flower which he also agreed. It took him quite a while to pick through the shakey remains but I waited patiently. He then asked if it would be okay if he only did the quarter of a sativa since there were others waiting. I was taken aback and in shock but agreed because of the circumstances mentioned prior. However I got home and weighed my ‘7 grams’ and was shorted a gram? I am frustrated that I was asked to forgo the items I came into pay for before the scheduled closing time. Like every other establishment under the sun, customers who are in store before closing (9:45 pm as listed on y’all a website) should be serviced. If that means the employees have to stay longer then so be it. While it is never ideal to stay after, that is just a part of many it not all jobs. While I waited outside for my Uber I saw that 3 of the 6-8 people behind me had left not wanting to wait. So I was denied purchasing what I wanted to make space for others who did not even end up staying to do so. I had high hopes for this dispensary as it is very close to my new area of residency, but think I will shop elsewhere and maybe others should too. Edit: I did also want to add that the quality of the weed has nothing to with my review. I knew exactly what I was getting by ordering the cheaper-shake weed. I wanted to buy it.
