I was really scared to have my first Colonoscopy, and the GI team was incredible. Two nurses, Ian Parker and Nicole (I'm so sorry not to remember her last name; I only remember Ian's last name because of spider man -_-) but they both made the whole process so much better for me and I was so glad to have them by my side, I am really grateful to them for their energy and their care. Dr. Essam Quraishi is attentive to your needs, kind, and professional. Thank you!

My 87 year old grandmother ended up at this hospital after falling and breaking her hip in the area. While the equipment is indeed on the older side, the Doctors are excellent and the nurses are too(particularly on the 6th floor). She was well and thoroughly cared for for her entire stay. As my mom kept saying:"They really think of everything here!" We're very grateful she landed at OC Global Medical Center. Thanks all!

On February 25th, 2020, my brother Chaz was hospitalized at Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana. On behalf of our family, I want to thank Courtney on the 6th Floor Nursing Station who attended to the care of my brother. While in his care, Courtney was amazingly compassionate, and demonstrated professionalism and outstanding care. Always making sure he had the meds he needed. Although we've been patiently waiting now for three (3) days for the GI doctor to see and evaluate my brother, Courtney has done all that she can to do. We truly appreciate all of Courtney's hard work to make sure he is comfortable and getting him back to his best health hasbbeen incredibly reassuring and brought us much peace. We need more RN's like Courtney. As busy as they were she never showed any attitude or felt bothered when any one of us had any questions. God Bless you Courtney for loving your job, taking care of those who need healing and taking on such a difficult position and doing this with such a pleasant caring attitude. Respectfully, Adriana on behalf of the Printzen family

If I could give negative stars it would be -5I was in major car accident. I was there over a week. I had both ankles injured. So I couldn’t walk. I told them my collar bone was broken. They took xrays and told me twice nothing was broken. They said it wasn’t. I picked up my records. I am no radiologist but it was clearly broken. It has now been over 8 weeks of healing. Now going to get a surgery to fix collar bone. At another place. I am in constant pain. It was the worst stay in my life.

One of the worst hospitals I have ever been to. Nurses and admission clerks are super rude in the ER. I kindly asked one of the admission clerks to please notify my sister in law's family of any updates. I advised her to please take a number down, she was defiant and had a bad attitude. She stated, "we don't have to contact you at all, she's an adult." I advised her a couple times that my sister in law was mentally unstable and indeed we needed to be contacted. She had a horrible attitude and didn't want to help. Also they refuse to give my mother in law any updates regarding her daughters condition or diagnosis. Nurses were refusing visit but wouldn't provide a reason. My mother in law had to demand to speak to the nurse in charge to at least be able to see her daughter. Don't go here! People that work there need to be at least a bit more empathetic and understanding.

On December 8th, my father was hospitalized at South Coast Global Medical Center, I want to say a big thank you to Rosario L. and her amazing RN trainee Mayan wishing you all the best. While in his care Rosario was amazingly gentle, caring and showed outstanding care for my father. Always making sure he had the meds he needed, I truly appreciate all their hard work and concern for my father's well being. Their will to make sure he was comfortable and getting him back to his best health was incredibly refreshing and outstanding, we need more RN like Rosario. As busy as they were she never showed any attitude or felt bothered when my father kept asking to be put in a certain position due to his pain. God Bless you Rosario for loving your job, taking care of those who need healing and taking on such a difficult position and doing this with such a pleasant caring attitude.

My c-section delivery was the worst experience ever. When I tell people everything that happened, they are stunned. It started with a very rude guard/ transporter who took me to L&D from ER. When I got to the room, the Rn said my Dr was not on call but the Dr on call for L&D was horrible and she would not let her deliver her dog let alone a baby. She said she would get ER Ob on call only to find out it was same horrible Dr. She then proceeded to backtrack and try to tell me Dr was good. She then told her Charge nurse that I was a problem. The charge nurse greeted me with attitude like I was crazy but I had witnesses so she backtracked. Then they tried to say my water had not broke and I could probably go home. When I stood, pink water covered the floor. Then they called my Dr and begged him to come in. He did and they told him the baby’s heart rated decelerrated with contractions. So after c section I was shivering, the recovering Rn got in my face and said “knock it off”. I was appalled. In my room post csection , the first Rn on duty kept me on pain meds without asking if I needed them. The next rn gave me none, so when I got up to use the bathroom, I was in so much pain, I couldn’t get up from toilet. The rn said “well..u didn’t ask for them”. I had to sit on toilet till meds kicked in. The last nurse befor I left did nothing for me, I had to ring her to get water , blanket, towel everything. When I asked for pain med, she was snotty and said “well all u can have is tylenol” . I didn’t care what it was, I was in pain. When I asked about help breastfeeding, the rn laughed. When social services came by, she asked if I needed anything, I asked about support groups. She replied rudely, “we don’t do that”. The whole experience was horrible. The staff is rude on every level.

Worst hospital, I had my baby here and had a surgery and nurses did not look to concerned about my pain. My baby did not get all the exams that he needed. I had an ultrasound done by a person that had no idea what she was doing. Food was nasty. Just by looking at the entrance I though of walking out but I needed to have my surgery done there because Saint Joseph's hospital won't do it. Will not recomend this hospital to anybody.
