The nurse, or nurse assistant was fairly rude and dismissive toward me. The doc I saw was great, however. I realize RN and nursing assistants are in high demand and they are perhaps overworked, but they really should consider they are dealing with people in pain/discomfort and the last thing they need is for someone to be dismissive or rude toward them. Customer service is an important function for many jobs, those included. If they dislike dealing with people, perhaps they're in the wrong career field.
Feedback:
They are trying to place all patients with assistants instead of actual Drs. The phone system is excruciating process just to reach the department you called for. They dont call you for important issues that need immediate attention they just message through my chart. Quality of care has gone way down and so has the process of dealing with them.
Feedback:
The phone service is by far the worst I have ever encountered, and I am a VA patient. The hold time can stretch into an hour or more. You Vets will understand that. At least at the VA we are told that we are17th in line and have music. At the moment, I have a question that has to be answered now! It’s faster to drive to the clinic than to stay on hold.
Feedback:
Virtually impossible to get a straight answer from anyone. My daughter has been out of school for a month, waiting for a very necessary prescription to be filled. The prescription delivery has been delayed twice due to changes being made by the prescribing office without them ever enlightening me as to what is transpiring. Phones always busy, messages rarely returned. With the exception of a few rotten doctors (I'm looking at you, doctor who spent 20 minutes lecturing my fit NINE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER on her weight when we came in for asthma issues), the physician staff is alright. The office staff in each specialty office I've entered has a communal chip on their shoulder. Horrible, uncaring, unsympathetic attitudes and audible eye rolling. Get your mess together. Hire better staff. Stop jerking your patients around. Most of us are going to you because we are in pain, afraid, nervous, anxious. None of us need a surly receptionist with an elitist complex on top of all that.

This place has got to be the worst place ive ever delt with. Ive waited for 2 months for 2 different appointments. Both of which i get a phone call on the day of telling me that they scheduled me wrong. Making me wait 1 to 3 weeks longer. After i already made arrangements with work. Another appointment the doctor refused to see me because it wasnt in her field, after taking time off and a scheduled appointment. Another doctor walks out of the room after telling me he can't operate on me ( cut me open) and doesn't know of anyone who can. Mind you thats not even close to what i was asking. Id give this place 0 star.

My elderly dad fell and hit his head early in the morning. I make an online appointment at urgent care to treat his symptom. Walk in at the appointed time, no other patients to be seen, quiet. Father carefully walks in and sits down. I tell them Dad has head injury and needs help. They ask, "which insurance does he have"? "Medicare". "Sorry, we don't treat Medicare patients". "Oh. Well, he's kind of hurt bad. We want to make sure he doesn't need a hospital". "Sorry. Go to Legacy. They take your insurance". My injured Dad walks slowly back to the car and we drive around looking for a place that would take us.I was appalled, that they made my head injured and possibly broken boned father walk out the door. But they did. Not one question about symptoms and concern that he may be seriously hurt. "We don't take Medicare".Gave them the benefit of the doubt on that until my experience with their billing department. After that, this review. I will spare the details, but the experience was similar to above. Simply.Do.Not.Care. So rude. I did all the discrepancy research, dates, amounts, everything. Their level of assistance and social caring is just about nil. Basically: "not our problem".Vancouver Clinic's motto: "Not Our Problem".No way does this clinic deserve more than one star. You have to do better than that, delivering public health services.By the way, took their advice, went to Legacy just down the street. They are "Non Profit". They are in the business of providing excellent health services to the community and they do take Medicare patients. Every interaction with them has been helpful and informative. We are in the process of switching our extended family.
Feedback:
Do NOT put your life or the life of a loved one in this clinic's hands. They have the most disorganized systems and they lie to you. The doctor says they will refer you to a specialist; then after you call them a few days later to see why you haven't heard anything, they say they are waiting on insurance; then you call insurance and find out that is not true. Then the clinic fesses up and says you are now "in the queue" to be referred, then they call back and say they are not referring you because it is not serious. Perhaps that was retaliation for demanding why things are taking so long? UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Feedback:
If you have other choices, I’d recommend someplace else. My wife went in with an issue. After X-ray found broken bone. Told to take ibuprofen and they’d have a referral for an orthopedic. In final paperwork had wrong hand. Left is not right. Let’s not have to repeat kindergarten. Also told if pain worsens to call back. 2 days later the pain was worse only at night making it difficult to sleep. Called back. After waiting the entire business day, decided to find out why they hadn’t called. On hold, finally their answer was the previous doctor hadn’t put anything in the notes about calling back if pain worsened. To be prescribed something stronger than ibuprofen you have to come back in to be seen by a different doctor. The rub...if they had returned the call right away in the morning and said come back in, we would have just gone to our primary care physician. Now the primary care doctors office is closed, no meds and another night without sleep. Communication is key, getting the correct appendage is key, putting things you say to your patients, under the further care section of the notes is key. Can’t get those things right and wasted a day of our time with no help or at least timely communication? We’ll go elsewhere.
Feedback:
Best set of doctors I have ever had. All of the offices communicate really well. I see a specialist for one thing and a general doctor for another, I needed labs for both and rather than having me come in 2 times they modified the requirements on my chart so the next time I come in for labs I can get everything done at once. They can all see the results from any tests as well so tests I have done for my specialist can be seen by my general practice doctor as well which means they simply have more information about my health. I highly recommend TVC
Feedback:
My family has been with Vancouver clinic since 2004. My youngest daughter (adopted) whom has been a patient there since she was 9mo old. Since her insurance recently changed. TVC is now saying that they are not taking any new patients with her insurance, unless I’m pregnant. If I were pregnant that could take my unborn child ( as a new patient) and all of my other children as well (so your taking patients) just not my daughter, who’s been seen there since she was a baby. I understand that we have to work to live. But it’s always such a slap in the face when you’re reminded that, at the end of the day, people don’t care about you, they just care about your money. When your advertising says how much you care. Your credibility goes down the tube when you don’t really care about my daughter, you only care about her money.
