Feedback:
Her bedside manner is extremely lacking. She will rush through your session,averaging less than 5 minutes per visit. She will talk over you, and is also extremely opinionated. Everytime I would visit her,she would have a random person in the room with me, most likely someone she was training but Dr. Vakkalanka would always fail to introduce the other person and their reason for being in there. Also when she met me the first thing she said was "I have another patient with your last name!" Well I enjoy my privacy and would not want the other person who might be related to me or not knowing I was visiting a certain specialist for any reason at all. I would not recommend her I'd you're seeking real help. I also left my session begging for a written diagnosis or report of some kind and she walked away while asking "do we have his email on file?" Yes, yes you do Sara. You never sent me that report and you never replied to any of my emails in the past 18 months, regardless so it wouldn't matter anyways. Thank you for making me feel unworthy of medical care.

Was referred here by my PCP and was reluctant when I realized the Dr works out of a medical spa… I wish I listened to my gut. Dr. Vakkalanka was able to diagnose and prescribe the correct medicine for issues I've been having with both ears for going on two years!! Recently though both ears flared up while I was at work! I could barely hear out of my left ear. I called the office and left a v/m- no one returned my call. Luckily the following day was my only day off that week and if you could imagine I had the worst night sleep! I called the office the entire morning and no one was answering! I went into the office very frustrated and in pain. They told me that there was no way I could be seen and told me I should just go to an urgent care!!! I begged and asked if anyone cancelled or no-showed to please call and I would show up. They were able to squeeze me in BUT my insurance would not cover the appointment bc it was same day and they have to submit a referral for any appt I make and it takes 3-10 business days etc. SO they asked that I pay a $100 office visit fee. The drops Dr. Vakkalanka prescribed were already prescribed to me twice in the past year and my insurance wouldn't cover it. It has been SIX Days since my appt and her office staff continues to send prescriptions that aren't covered by my insurance! I am very grateful and I don't doubt the doctors qualifications! BUT she needs her own office with QUALIFIED Medical assistants. I feel scammed out of $100 that my insurance would've covered if I waited and I feel neglected. Cold, lacking compassion and basic customer service training would best describe this office.

I don't understand all the 5-star reviews for Sarah Vakkalanka. I had a sinus condition. I took my scans on my laptop to her office. She barely looked at them and said, "Irrigate your nose daily." Wha--?! I called my general physician to request a second opinion. The second ENT physician provided a REAL diagnosis and my sinus condition has improved. (Vakkalanka's front office personnel was just fine.)BTW, several years ago, I went to Dr. Vakkalanka for a persistent clicking in my ear. She said, "That happens sometimes." I paid over $100 for that diagnosis! LOL

Dr Vakkalanka is so patient and kind! She treated my Grandmother who has severe Parkinson’s & Dementia and was fighting the ear exam. Dr Vakkalanka was so patient and tried to examine the trauma in my Grandma’s ear while my Grandfather and I tried to hold her arms down and calm her. Dr Vakkalanka actually squeezed us in that day even though she was getting ready to leave. The following visits were filled with the same compassion! I’m not sure why the reviews say that her staff is not great.... everyone in her office was always very professional, helpful and very nice!

Dr Sarah Vakkalanka has a very caring/friendly nature and puts you at ease when discussing medical matters. She approaches your medical issues with sensitivity and respect, giving you the facts as they are so you’re better prepared for a resolution. Dr Vakkalanka feels like a doctor you’ve known all your life despite visiting only once before. She genuinely wants to see you get healthier and makes that her final goal. Her office staff are friendly and efficient and the facilities impeccable.

The worst staff I have ever experienced in any Doctor’s office. When I was in the office the phone rang and two of the staff members were standing next to the phone. One said don’t answer it we will just check it later I don’t want to talk to anyone!While I never saw the Doctor the Physicians Assistant was not very helpful. Please find another Doctor if you are having an ear problem.

Dr. Vakkalanka is amazing doctor so knowledgeable, professional, and impeccable bedside manner . I was so worried of the conditioni was in when I went in to see her . She assured me that the worst of my thoughts of my systems were not was I was so worried about. Relief ! She did some test that none of the other doctors had even tried on me and found the problem right away and fixed it . I am so greatful to her. She’s is the best doctor ever!

I have NO clue how this Doctor's reviews are SO high. I had the most incredibly awful experience with Dr. Sarah Vakkalanka and her entire staff. She performed a tonsillectomy and septo-plasty. At first our appointments were pleasant. But when it came to the morning of my surgery she was over an hour late! And when she finally arrived she was quite rude and short with my girlfriend and I. She didn't even apologize for being late!Then to add insult to injury, she left immediately after she performed my surgery. She merely called my girlfriend, gave her a few rushed instructions and hurried off the phone. My girlfriend was only 10 minutes away when Dr. Vakalankka called her. By the time she got back to the surgery center the doctor was already gone. We had to rely on the surgery center staff to assist us. We REALLY needed her to be around because every pharmacy in town was REFUSING to fill the prescription she had prescribed me. Most pharmacists said it was too high of a dosage or they didn't carry the medication. But of course we couldn't get into contact with her OR her office post-surgery - apparently the phones weren't working. Either way, the doctor wasn't returning our phone calls and the office wasn't answering AT ALL. We would leave messages and no one would call us back.After hours of no response we finally were helped but it was a serious nightmare.Finally, last month I experienced sever bleeding from my nose out of nowhere. We called Dr. Vakkalanka and she instructed we should go to the ER and have the staff call her once we were there. We hoped she was finally going to provide the bedside care and post-surgery care we had been initially hoping for. Unfortunately we were proved wrong. We were admitted into the ER less than an hour after speaking with doctor. Of course when the staff calls her, we can't reach her. We call her staff and they were equally as unhelpful.After hours of stress, phone calls, and LOTS of lost blood, the poor unequipped doctors at our emergency room managed to stop the bleeding but I was in EXTREME pain. We were instructed by Dr. Vakkalanka's staff to see the doctor in her office at 2pm. Her staff was incredibly rude to my girlfriend and me. The doctor showed up 35 minutes late (again, didn't even apologize) and all she did was suck the dried up blood out of my nose - she couldn't identify what caused/why it was bleeding in the first place. We were out within 15 minutes. We just recieved a bill in the mail and I'm appaled because she seriusly did NOTHING. If anything driving out to her office only provided us more strife and pain.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR OR OFFICE TO ANYONE!!! PLEASE do yourself a favor and find a different doctor. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED!
