I have thoroughly enjoyed living at Union and the location is a huge benefit. Being right across the street from the ASU Tempe campus has been so convenient and the availability to walk back between classes and hang out in my apartment has made classes much easier to schedule and I save a lot of money not owning a car to get around. With several grocery stores within walking distance and things to do the prime location of Union is what convinced me I needed to live here. The staff is always friendly and willing to help and I feel a greater sense of community in this building than when I was in the dorms, which cost almost as much for so much less. The building is also super clean and maintenance actually replaces our air filters every few months which ASU housing never did and that has become significantly more important to have a clean and safe space to live during a pandemic. Highly recommend living at Union Tempe!

Great place to actually live! Anyone that has to complain about living here has problems underlying with themselves as people lol. I think it would just make sense that if something doesn't work or if you have a problem that you would just reach out to the leasing office about your needs. The leasing office has done a spectacular job with tending to my needs, yes my parking pass sometimes doesn't work but it is probably because the gates are always broken off by residents as they are required to scan in and out to work. They were more than helpful in getting my parking pass replaced if it did not work! I would have renewed here if I did not graduate!

Union has the BEST location out of all the apartments around ASU, it's a short walk to campus and mill. The utilities expenses are very affordable compared to others and the internet is great. I also like using their study rooms during finals. The staff is super helpful and friendly don't listen to the other reviews about them being difficult because everything has always been clear and easy with the management. I would live here again, five stars.

Problem after problem, nothing done to compensate me and my roomates paying 5k a month I've been reaching out to Union staff multiple times for reoccurring issues I've had with my AC, gates for monthly parking not working, and lack of communication. nothing has been done for us as tenants

I didn't choose this apartment because I was so disappointed by their service attitude. I looked at all the apartments around tempe and their attitude was probably the most perfunctory. When I asked for their floor plan, the staff pointed to me with their feet!（their floor plan is on the wall）and then I asked if I could have a look at their sample room. The staff took me to the room without saying a word. It's hard to imagine what would happen if you actually lived there. It's just a waste of time.

Insulting... Lived here last year and honestly enjoyed it. It is definitely overpriced but it’s nice to be close to downtown. shady park and the construction were definitely loud, so were the weekends with everyone out drinking. Never had noise issues with the actual residents, just exterior noises. Living there was a 4/5, however, since moving out they are doing the same thing to us that other reviewers stated, sending us obscene collections threats for thousands of dollars that have 100% been paid. we dealt with this issue while living there and always approached the staff and they said it was a clear system error on their end and assured we paid in full.... Now almost 6 months later ... we receive a first and FINAL threatening collections notice. I never met brad while living there but he is supposedly the new manager and has handled this issue with nonexistent customer service and zero tact. We spoke to him on the phone and he sounded clueless about the issue, asked us to simply reply to it. Then he is the same person who responded to the email with a completely inaccurate ledger and said nothing other than to provide proof. Unimpressed with the new staff and honestly insulted by Union Tempe after our time there.Updating this as of 3/12/2020 - officially 1 star in my eyes. We resolved the issue with the community manager (so we thought) yet today we received another collections notice out of the blue from corporate due to faulty practices on Greystars part. Demanding we pay them amounts they were already paid yet have not kept proper record of. There are plenty of other options around town guys - ones that won’t haunt you long after you’re gone. Look elsewhere. The perks it had before are dwindling due to the construction and lack of professionalism on their part. And know they get so many 5 star reviews because they offer $$$ gift cards to residents in raffles each month. So there’s that.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time living at Union Tempe while I was a student, however, over the past several months I have been getting emails with inaccurate ledgers from this team. The new management here needs a lot of work. LOVED the old team.... but BEWARE of Brad. I would say save yourself the headache... and the random extra fees they claim you owe and do not live here. Extremely disappointed in the lack of attention to detail and non-existent customer service the past few month.

Literally do not live here. Staff and management is terribly unorganized and unhelpful. Took me weeks to get ahold of anybody regarding my lease transfer due to me moving states. That whole process was SO frustrating, dealing with CHILDREN as staff. After multiple unanswered phone calls & emails TRYING to get assistance so I could move, I finally got things handled, paid my pro-rated rent, paid $300 to transfer my lease & signed myself legally closing the contract. Now nearly a YEAR goes by after moving and I get an email that I owe an unexplainable balance on my account that will be sent to collections if not paid??? HOW !? These new apartment complexes are nothing but money hungry, feeding off of college students who have no choice but to pay their ridiculously OVER PRICED rent.

The number of times I have come home to dog feces and urine in front of my door, in the hallways and in the elevators is astounding. I gave up telling the staff about the issue after the sixth time because it was clear to me that they either can't do anything about it or they don't care. Either way it is disgusting has been a huge detriment to what has otherwise been a pretty decent living experience.

BIG thank you to Leo for guiding me throughout the leasing process and helping me find my future home! He truly went out of his way to assist me. I am even more excited to move into Tempe Union than I was before because of his knowledge and expertise. If you are looking for someone patient, experienced and extremely personable, ask for Leo because he truly is the best! Looking forward to living in such a beautiful apartment complex next year :)
