The one "good" thing that came out of the pandemic, if ANYTHING, was the impeccable sense of maintenance and product development that it ignited from our community, and Sherman Oaks has been with us ALL THE WAY. Just got fresh tires, a battery and headrest, proving that Sherman Oaks Medical is reliable and consistent, even during a PUBLIC EMERGENCY.As always, CHEERS, and thanks for your service!!! :-)

I had spine surgery back in November. I had my previous wheelchair for 6 years and was in need of a new one. A friend recommended this place, I was honestly hesitant to get a chair from a different company, but I am so glad I came to Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies!!! They made the process so easy, and quick!! My needs were heard and met and i couldn't be more grateful for that. Having a wheelchair that fits like a glove can make such a big difference in your life. I can honestly say I finally have my dream chair! A huge thank you to Lucy and Jack, both of you have given me my independence and freedom back! Definitely recommend !!! :)

My mom is 99 years old. Recently she had an above the knee amputation due to circulation issues. She made it through the surgery and we wanted to take her home to recover. She needed a bed that could move into a sitting position and to be able to tilt her other leg down about 10%. In the hospitals they used the Hill Rom Care Assist bed. I called every place I could in the San Francisco Bay area since we live in Half Moon Bay.No one had a hospital bed that could move into these position to prevent future problems with her existing leg. I called Sherman Oaks Medical Equipment, they had the bed and they also gave me the option to rent it. Since it is extremely expensive to buy renting was what I was hoping for. When I asked if they could bring it to Half Moon Bay they said YES for an additional fee for the distance. I could not believe they were willing to drive with two men to Half Moon Bay which is close to 7 hours each way.But the best was that they said they could deliver it the NEXT DAY! And at 10:30 am two men from Sherman Oaks Medical Equipment arrived with the bed. They took it down 5 steps and set it up and explained how it all worked and my mom was in bed and comfortable by 11:30am. Sherman Oaks Medical is not just about selling or renting equipment but about truly helping the person who needs specific medical equipment and making it available no matter how far away they are. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My mom is able to be positioned to maintain proper circulation and comfort and is doing better everyday. Thank you for caring about our love ones first and foremost.

I have visited LA for one week in October. I tried to rent a mobility scooter with a competitor. They were not able to organize for a suitable delivery. I should be happy that delivery failed as I came across Sherman Oaks.I was entirely satisfied with the scooter provided (Elite Go Go Sprt, fits into trunk of most cars as well as buses and Metro). Without that scooter I would not have been able to do plenty of sightseeing.Service was very good and reliable. Moreover Sherman was cheaper than the competitor would have been.

I am a scooter user, but my doctor told me it's time to move up to an electric wheelchair. When I went in, I could barely breathe. My heart was racing. What will my life be like in an electric wheelchair? Jack and Hyak eased my fears (and gave me ultimate cups of coffee!) and made me realize that this was right. But before I was sure, I had in mind 4 tests... first... Can it be pink and green (I mean who has a dual colored chair?) Jack said "hm, you want it, let's do it! It'll be our first but why not!?!?!" (Noooo! One point to Sherman Medical, Zero Stephanie) Second, is it comfortable? They had me try the Permobil M3 and Jack had them take my measurements really quickly and fix it up for me... It reclined, it tilted, it did everything but cook dinner! (Uh oh 2 points Sherman Medical, 0 Stephanie!) Next, they took me outside and I said "Ok if this goes over this awful ground over there, and I don't feel much, I'm in trouble!" Guess what? 3 points Sherman Medical, 0 Stephanie! Then my final test. Before I went I told my service dog, a standard poodle, if this is supposed to be the one, then jump on my lap and kiss me. Well, you guessed it... we got back in from the third test and he did "paws up" and I said "Uh oh! This is it! I'm in trouble! I couldn't stump them or my needs!" I put off asking my mom or dad for the funds, because maybe I just could ignore my needs, but finally almost a month in, I asked. I finally had come to the realization that this WAS best for me and that it would hurt me a lot less! Ok I digress, let's go back to the original appointment. My scooter was messed up and Jack told one of the workers, please fix this ASAP, she can't drive it this way! And so they had my play in the M3 a little longer and see what they could do for my scooter and the nearly 2 hours bus ride home. Cost? ZERO! They said if I buy with them they'd also help care for my scooter for travel and everything! I'm shocked! Well, I told them I wanted it before my birthday Oct 1st. So they said to come out for the final fitting and everything on the 30th and I'll go home with it! I'm just in awe of this company! They really care! As someone that has been really struggling with my decline in mobility, these guys really made me feel at ease! I can't wait to go back there and get it and drive it home! Thank you Hyak and Jack! You guys are an amazing team! I wish it wasn't so far away or I'd ask to work with you! ;) Thank you for making this transition as scary as it may be, as relaxing as it could be! I will always be a loyal customer! You guys deserve more than 5 stars!

Jon At Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies has excellent products. The quality of the wheelchair, reclining chair, and other handicapped mobility equipment I've bought there have been of the highest quality. They especially have great power reclining/lift chairs and handicap beds on the second floor. J is very knowledgeable and hard-working to get what you need.

I have enjoyed repair services on my wheelchair with Sherman Oaks Medical Supply in Pacoima, California I would not buy any Medical supply's other Medical Supply Stores. I have been very happy with Sherman Oaks, Other Medical Store in the Valley would not help me. Jack you were the only person that has helped me. The years that I have known Sherman Oaks Medical Supply Store in Sherman Oaks, California is the only store that helps out the Deaf and the disable and also understands there needs, Jack your macanic's in Pacoima have help me a lot. When something is wrong with my wheelchair, it gets fixed. Thank you Jack for helping me I know that it was hard to understand me, but we and your girls at the Sherman Oaks Store Learned how to communicate , you and your staff can communicate with a person that is Deaf, all of your staff have received calls from me talking with an interpreter for the Deaf. I took my sister's wheelchair to Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies for repair as it was "falling apart". I was concerned that it would be a day or two as she needed it right away; however, Leo fixed in just a few minutes tightening it up. He understood the situation, was very efficient and courteous. I was so pleased and my sister was grateful as well.

MOST AMAZING BUSINESS!!I just got 2nd home in Santa Monica and left my CPAP in Vegas. Called everywhere for CPAP machine to no avail. Found Sherman Oaks Medical supplies online and left message with their answering service. Jack the owner called me back immediately and arranged for someone to open store at 9pm on Saturday night. Sold me Resmed Airsense 10 at the best advertised price and would have paid more but he said no will sell sat lowest price.Thank you Jack great service thanks for saving me!

I bought a walker for my Dad...$388 so it was not some cheap piece of junk. 2 months later one of the screws fell out..simple fix right? I brought it back to Sherman Oaks Medical Supply for repair. Upon telling them of the problem they said that they did not carry the screws or the type of screw driver needed to fix it but that I could go to their repair shop in San Fernando to have it fixed. I said you're kidding me right, I'm going to have to drive all the way to San Fernando to get a screw replaced? I said take it out of one of the new units here and then get a replacement for yourself and replace it. Logical right? No way, they said it was "my" responsibility to make sure the screws were tight. I told them it was the responsibility of the manufacturer or whoever assembled it to make sure that the screws would not fall out in two months of walking on carpets with it. They refused to fix it...until I mentioned that if my Dad who is 96 years old fell because of this loose wheel..that they would also be named in that Lawsuit. Miraculously literally within 20 seconds they not only found the correct screw but also the hex wrench to put it in.....their customer service TOTALLY SUCKS. I would never buy a single item from them again and had I known of their poor customer service and attitude prior, I certainly would not have dropped almost $400 on a walker in their store. How difficult would it had been to say "sure, no problem we can fix that" and thanks for your business? Which they will NEVER get again.
