Bought a rain jacket there, worst rain jacket ever to begin with. Then the inner lining starts to peel off, so sent it in to get it fixed or a new one, because "Lifetime warranty". Get it back 6 weeks... more

Bought a rain jacket there, worst rain jacket ever to begin with. Then the inner lining starts to peel off, so sent it in to get it fixed or a new one, because "Lifetime warranty". Get it back 6 weeks later saying it wasn't covered because it was a "Salesman Sample". Say what? It wasn't advertised that way, only that it was on sale, nothing letting you know this was used as a sample on the floor, which somehow excludes their warranty, total BS. Northface has always been WAY overpriced for the quality, but to weezell out of your own warranty when there is no difference in build is beyond belief. Never buying Northface again, only Mountain Hard Wear, much much higher quality.

Poor customer service. Refusing to take defective North Face merchandise back. We asked for a replacement of the defective item, and they could not provide a replacement, so we simply asked for a refund. I thought North Face stood by their quality but their $120 wool shirts ripped after only about 10 wears. Brianna, the condescending and rude manager, refused to help, wouldn't look up transaction information. She outright lies that she cannot find transactions. Tried to give us less than our purchase price back, and treated my wife like a criminal. NOT SMART, NORTH FACE. You just alienated a family that routinely spends $4000+ a year on ski/outdoor and cold weather gear. Disappointed you guys don't stand by your products. Furthermore, this horrid manager Brianna actually had the nerve to force my wife to find the store location we purchased from in Park City, UT instead of doing it herself, since we had transaction ID's and date. Corporate should be embarrassed they employ a poor manager like this, and that their stores don't stand by these fraudulent "lifetime warranty" on their gear. Yeah, right, didn't even last 90 days without a tear. BUYERS BEWARE!

This location seriously needs better management and staff training. I got accidentally charged for my item when I came in for a return. I called the store 4 times and spoke with 3 different people (including the manager and assistant manager) and waited 2 weeks to get the issue fixed. No initiative nor accountability was taken by the staff at TNF South Coast. I literally had to raise my voice + file a dispute with my bank before I was reimbursed. Throughout my many interactions with multiple staff at TNF South Coast, I did not once feel like anyone was addressing my issue (they brushed it off) nor were apologetic. Instead I got excuse after excuse. I am never returning to this store and I will not be purchasing another TNF item due to this interaction, which is a shame because I've been a long time customer.

He took down the mannequin, took off its arms, stripped it bare, and behold the shirt in my size. That is what I call dedication to their customers especially during closing time in the holiday season. Thanks North Face! You guys rock!
