Had to take UA test for job, it took 3 hrs, two hours wait time one hour paper work . They weren't even busy , they just didnt care, everyone standing around and talking. I did see the person that gav... more

I did see the person that gave me my test made sure and had their break and got down to the snack machine though, carrying back a couple big cokes....dont come here , go anywhere else.

I’ve been here several times for occupational health appointments. At minimum, with an appointment, I have to sit and wait for an hour in the waiting area. Today’s appointment time was 10:00, I signed in a 9:55, and it is currently 11:15 and I’m still sitting in the waiting area. Moral of the story, expect a long wait even with a scheduled appointment. They don’t care if you have a scheduled time, it’s first come first served.

THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH "MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS". I have intentionally put the term in quotations because it appears as though the radiology technicians lack any sort of fundamental training in empathy or cultural sensitivity. I went for my very first mammogram and was quite nervous and anxious about the procedure. The technician accused me of "having an attitude" and asked if the problem was with the check in staff. (Carla Smith and her follow check in staff were lovely, by the way). I was then lectured for filling out the form "incorrectly". I asked to reschedule 3 times with a different technician and was hostilely told "the exit is that way". When I asked to speak to a supervisor or patient advocate I was told, "good luck with that!" To say that I was treated rudely and unfairly is an understatement. I am appalled by the treatment that I have received ESPECIALLY since it was at the hands of an employee who is supposed to represent the very BEST in the medical profession. After all, this is what they espouse on their website "At The University of Kansas Health System, we provide the most current and effective treatments in a welcoming, professional and caring environment. Our vision, mission and values represent our commitment to our patients' overall health and satisfaction with our hospital. Our goal is to ensure all of our patients have the best possible healthcare experience by receiving quality care and outstanding service." I have found that in the practical sense, this standard is not being met and this particular employee does NOT embody this credo. I will NOT be back and suggest that anyone seeking radiology services to find a different location or comparable services OUTSIDE of the KU Med network.

We were running late because my sons school had a fire drill and I could not come in to pick him up. I called Dr Browns office to see if it would be okay for us to run a little behind, and she told us we have 15mins grace period. Great. We got there within that 15 mins, however front desk person took 15 mins to check in the person in front of us. Then by the time we tried to check in, she told us we are way beyond the 15mins grace period.....then canceled our appointment. But we were there. She saw us standing there for 15mins waiting. Sorry we were late, but when we even called to check and made it to within that 15mins, I’m not sure why we would have to cancel the appointment. We drove 25mins, I took last few hours off from my work. Please don’t say there is 15mins grace period if you do not honor it. Very disappointed...

I have an unusual set of symptoms and after a year of getting no where with my doctor there, I decided to see Dr. Stone, an internist here. She is respectful, kind, and immediately had ideas of what could be causing my symptoms. All of the ladies at the check in desks are impressively cheerful and friendly (especially at the desks for labwork). Lab result come in quickly and within the timeframe they say that they will (this is a new concept to me after dealing with via christi in manhattan). Basically it is unquestionably worth the two hour drive each way and half a tank of gas.

Dr. Tuba Esfandyari, avoid at all cost. Voice became hoarse and sore throat after Dr. Tuba preformed a upper GI. Called 2 days after procedure to be told the procedure did not cause my symptoms an to go see a ENT doctor. ENT doctor told me that occasionally and rarely during a upper GI, the throat and voice might be hit with the instrument used. Was advised that it might take up to 2 months to heal (which it did) Dr. Tuba should have advised me when I called her 2 days after the procedure that this might have happened and to expect a healing process. Instead I have had 2 Dr. visits with a ENT to advise me. Beware

This is my second time to be here. I was here two years back for a pre employment drug test and the service was great and fast. This time I am here for the same service for my wife and waited for longer than two hours. It is unhealthy to keep customers to wait that long without peeing. The people in the wait room does not justify the wait time. I didn’t expect the service to be that far poor.

I'd give it ZERO stars if they'd let me. Worst urgent care ever! They charged us $300 and literally did nothing but say we can't help you. If you have anything other than a broken bone, save your time and money and go somewhere else. They told us they only have an x-ray machine and they aren't allowed to do any other tests, yet it is supposed to be an urgent care center.

Just needed a D.O.T. drug screening....waited almost 2 and a half HOURS before they could see me!!!!! This is an unacceptable amount of time to wait. Alot of people have the understanding that you need to be ready to go pee when you arrive, well, when you sit THAT long waiting it's VERY hard to hold it! If you do opt to use the restroom beforehand in the lobby then their policy is to make you wait an ADDITIONAL 15 minutes before your screening! If you go too soon and then they immediatley call you and then you CAN'T pee then you have to wait even LONGER or you fail! This system is flawed and needs streamlined. Note, once I was called, I had everything done in under 10 minutes. If you are an employer, I do not recommend using their services for pre-employment physicals and screenings. Please don't tell me how sorry you are, just fix it, this is ridiculous.

Sent here for a pre employment drug screen and I've been sitting in the waiting area for an hour and a half and still yet to be seen for a 5 minute thing. Yet when I asked the receptionist 30 minutes ago how long the wait would be, she said I was 2nd in line so it shouldn't be too much longer. Yet here I am still sitting in this lobby wasting my time for who know how much longer. Never come here if you can avoid it
