was on the phone with a nurse to see about covid testing and she basically said "that test is only given to members" so I asked "so your telling me I cant be tested because I dont have kaiser membership and im an essential employee" she says "its usually only for our members because we're a private hospital" I hung up so upset cause your a hospital it shouldn't matter what insurance you have or mentorship if someone needs help you can jus bill them will NEVER go to kaiser 0 stars if possible

I had to go to the ER department for chest pains , severe headache and shortness of breath. Although I was treated very nicely in the ER , the personnel were very nice to me but they wouldn't fill the prescriptions that the doctor ordered in the pharmacy. I still felt pretty bad when I got home so I went to bed. The following morning I called the advice line and was told my file is reflecting NO COVERAGE. I explained I was on Medi-cal and I was just there yesterday. The lady very rudely told me I had no coverage!!!! Are you joking?? I can't breathe and don't have the medicine I need. You need to get a more professional phone staff because this lady is the reason I won't change over to Kaiser.

I've been going to this Kaiser facility for a bit over five years. It is difficult to get proper medical care here. Today went in for a possible broken bone. Told they can do nothing for me. They had me talk to a nurse over the phone while I was in the facility who essential wanted me to diagnose myself. Can't get an x-ray for another 24 hours, and for all I know I won't get one then either.This facility is better than nothing, and I'm sure they've helped many people. But if you have another option or can go to another Kaiser facility I would recommend doing so.Edit: In response to Kaiser’s reply: I did just that. There was no mistake. Kaiser does not offer urgent care in Vallejo. If a patient goes to Emergency Room for something like this they are charged a much higher co-pay, and your own website states that the ER isn’t for cases like this. The best one of your patients can hope for in Vallejo for an injury like this is to get a regular doctor appointment “within 48 hours.”Or I could drive 60 miles roundtrip and roughly 2-3 hours in traffic to Oakland. You should offer better care for your patients.

Large facility I helped construct back in 2008, its a trip down memory lane because my Senior Citizen father now receives top - notch services here from time to time since his stroke. When your out in the world give your best efforts to your work load you will have no idea who it may reach or who may benefit

I received my care here for my pregnancy and delivery. Had a scheduled c section last week by Dr. Sarah Smith. I was so nervous about the surgery and I honestly could not have had a better experience. The moment I walked in my husband and I were informed of the procedure. The entire surgical team introduced themselves prior to the surgery. I was allowed to play music in there. The anesthesia team, I regret not having written their names down, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kept me calm with breathing techniques throughout the procedure. The nurses after the procedure made sure I was back on my feet in no time. Loved the experience and highly recommend to any expectant mommy.

Horrible, advice nurse said to bring my sister in to ER and waited for 2-3 hours with nothing done for her. What is wrong here had a surgery this morning. They need to do better than this. Where are the administrators no one here to talk with. This is at kaiser vallejo, ca.

Not the best Kaiser, some service staff and check in employees do not know what they are doing. Couldn't get an appointment for over a week and I have severe asthma issues. I was prescribed oral steroids over the phone because they couldn't see me, then when I wanted to be seen because the steroids weren't working they were still "unable" to book an on site appointment. Asked for a note for work the staff had trouble with that. Just overall bad experiences so far at this Kaiser. I have been a Kaiser member for over 20 years and have never had this much trouble seeking medical help. Hopefully they hire more staff or make some changes because this is very unfortunate.

I am giving two stars because I am totally disappointed with emergency department security, I never had this kind of experience before in my life. I like the doctor and employees but the security In duty, made us feel bad. I was there on 20/01/2018 at 5pm she is super rude , I went there with my two kids( 7&9 )years old . I told her I am here to see my wife at the same time I got call from hospital I answered after I told security this is my ID and I give her my wife name. Do you know what security response “ lower your voice” and I’m talking calm and my normal voice, that’s her response after she saying kids not allowed. I ask her what is other options? I have kids now.. she said this is Hospital policy oh okay and I ask her what’s other options again she answer lower your voice again I was really, upset because I’m talking in a normal tone. I never had this kind experience in my life. We just want to see my wife if she’s doing ok.

Having a great stay here at kaiser vallejo the staff is incredible. I started out having a pretty rough go of things and the kaiser nurses and hospitalists made sure i got the right care. Thank you. I also wanted to take a moment to recognize the nutritionist who made sure to get me foods that i liked because i was having problems with my appetite after surgery and what awesome food I'm so thankful this is my hospital!

I was treated so poorly and discriminated agaimst because my insurance hasnt cleared on their end ..it cleared on mine and the lady at the pharmacy was rude( even though the dr a week b4 had written the script for steroid cream btw ) she told me go talk to leslie the third time i had to check in with member services ..and this time Leslie acted like i was lying and asked to speak to my bemefits people and she was very irritated and rude and seemed like i was wasting her time ..wth ?? I m a memeber and to be tteated this way was just unacceptable in every way ..get it together kaiser
